A Serious Post to Give You Hope

Really....no kidding

This is completely out of character and is not my typical humorous post. It requires reading (ugh). But it will also lay out a battle plan for diminishing the frightening possibility of a theocracy/dictatorship. I'm paraphrasing information I've gotten from reading substacks by Mark Monsour and Scott Dworkin, both of who I heartily recommend.

There are a number of arenas on which this war will be fought.

LEGAL

The court system is how battles are fought in our society. The front-line troops in this will be ACLU attorneys, who are poised and ready to file litigation challenging every executive order and illegal activity. The Executive Order gets signed at noon, the litigation will get filed at 1:00. At least 50% of all the attempted evil will be thwarted. If you're asking what you can do, one of the first things is to join the ACLU. Even making a one-time $5.00 donation makes you a member. The Florida affiliate of the ACLU is $35 to become a member. And yes, it does seem odd that the national organization is $5.00 and State organization is $35, but I've checked it out and that's what it is.

BUREAUCRACY

This country steers like a cruise ship, not a cigarette boat. It won't go “Handmaid's Tale" overnight. Where authoritarianism has taken hold (Hungary for instance) it took a decade for the transition take place. Trump appointees fall into two categories. The imbeciles and the competent. There are many more imbeciles than those competent. Most of the top level appointees are imbeciles, while the lower level has some competent folk, and since their only mission is to destroy the agency they’ve been put in charge of, they have a good chance of bending it, but not not breaking it. While the new regime will be very busy firing as many Democrat civil servants and military personnel as they are able to, they won’t be able to fire them all, and there will be a fair amount of resistance from within each Cabinet department and throughout the military. Not only that, but Benedict Donny is a moron who doesn't understand how government works and thinks he can by decree, eliminate the Department of Education. He can't. In addition, the sheer soul crushing weight of any of these bureaucracies will suffice as a regulator, if not brakes.

CABINET PICKS ARE BRAIN DEAD FUCK UPS

But even if they did know what they were doing, almost without exception, the nominees are out of their league. They have neither run such sizable organizations, or have any knowledge whatsoever about how the organizations work. 97% of Americans depend on the federal government one way or the other. When the federal government stops functioning, people are going to be unhappy. It will affect people's lives negatively in ways they can't even imagine. Of course, these are the same people who say, “Tell those damn socialists to keep their hands off my Medicare”. But that's another story. Every Trump nominee not confirmed is another loss for The Party of Traitors. But no matter what, people will suffer, and they will be unhappy. FAFO.

DEPORTATION

If you don't know by now how unworkable this is, you haven't been paying attention. The cost… Astronomical. The resources necessary to carry something like this off… Almost beyond calculation. I have heard (but not verified) that 1 in 15 Americans are directly or indirectly connected to an undocumented alien. Ultimately, we are all connected to them, because numbers of industries are wholly dependent on them. U.S. farm industry groups want President-elect Donald Trump to grant them an exemption, sparing their sector from his promise of mass deportations, which could upend a food supply chain heavily dependent on immigrants in the United States illegally. Half of the agricultural workers in the US are undocumented. Hello $18 tomatoes. This country was built on slave labor, and now thrives by paying undocumented aliens slave wages. We are, and always have been, addicted to DIRT cheap labor. But no matter what, there's a problem with this idea that hasn't been discussed. You have to deport these people TO somewhere. There is not one South American or Central American country that will start accepting hundreds of thousands of people, and there will be a million people, including families, languishing in internment camps. Greg Abbott, Texas Governor, in a perennial contest with DeSantis to see who can be a bigger Simon Bar Sinister (Google it), has promised Trump plenty of acreage in Texas on which to have internment camps. There will be videos of jackbooted thugs dragging off screaming children going viral, horrific images of mothers crying, fathers crying, children crying, everybody crying. And dying. All these people will also have to be fed, clothed, and given medical care.

The public will see “The New American Brown Shirts” for the monsters they are. Of course, MAGATS will blame it on Biden/Obama/Hunter’s Penis/Hillary’s e-mails, but ultimately, they're gonna wind up owning this one. There are going to be many people very unhappy about all of this. Mostly about the $18 tomatoes.

TARIFFS

The Broligarchy who run this country is fully aware of what a stupid idea this is. No one wins in a trade war. They are not going to let anything negatively affect their God, money. But no matter what, the central most important factor in the recent election will only bring the Party of Traitors more pain, as the price of eggs and everything else goes up.

DEMOCRATIC GOVERNORS…

Are locked and loaded, already taking steps to radiate the cancer that is MAGA in their States. They are also jockeying for 2028, so they will be more aggressive. And that's what we need… Warriors. Democrats have been concerned for far too long about being fair. You can be fair, ethical, honest, and still kick ass, and you don't need anything exotic. All you have to do is enforce existing law.

BERNIE SANDERS…

Is going to be looking at Trump's campaign promises, and turning them into bills. For instance, during the campaign, Felon 45 said he wanted to limit credit card interest rates to 10%. Bernie intends to write legislation regarding this, and see if they can get it to Drump’s desk. When he refuses to sign it, or the traitorous scum calling themselves Republicans refuse to vote for it, then sing that from the rooftops. Do this with every one of his campaign lies. The criminal clowns haven't even taken office, and they’re already pursuing illegal activities.

LASTLY…YOU

That’s right. You. You're probably wondering what little old you can do. As previously mentioned, support the ACLU. But in addition, there's something I'm going to say you may not believe. Politicians pay attention to emails, letters, and phone calls. They don’t read them, but they get a report that say something like: This month you got 8,542 emails urging you not to be such a douche canoe. Or words to that effect.

Not only will it make a difference, but it will be a great psychological boost, feeling that you're taking some kind of action that can prevent this:
