I watched the horror show election night, and just can't fucking believe it. We thought America was better… Appealing to better angels… That sort of thing.
Claptrap, twaddle, balderdash, bull feathers, hooey, humbug, drivel, malarkey, hokum, piffle, poppycock, flapdoodle. (Brief aside, what’s a synonym for “thesaurus”)
Many people are writing today about the death of the Republic, the end of the American experiment, gloom, despair, and agony.

I can't disagree…
And take solace only in the fact that the democratic process worked, and not one Democrat claimed that the election was rigged or that someone cheated. The outcome blew blue whale dick (and that's some mighty big dick) and it very well may turn out that it’s America’s final election. At least we won’t have to look at any more political advertising.
One benefit is that when Trump’s (Project 2025) policies are enacted, it will be so unpalatable with the American public that even the dimwit morally bankrupt Party of Traitor voters will express dissatisfaction, at which point there is only one question to ask: “Did you vote for Republicans?” If the answer is yes, then the response should be something along the lines of, “Well then, you bought it, you eat it. Now sit down and shut the fuck up.”
Keep in mind…
Only about 60% of the American population voted, so that means that just a little over 30% voted for The Orange Shit Stain. Of that, I'm guessing that only 75% to 80% are racist misogynist douche-nozzles and the rest, if they were any more stupid, would have to be watered twice a week.

The day I wrote that post, it hadn't been mentioned yet. Since then I've seen it mentioned numerous times. But all of that is going absolutely nowhere. But Marcie, I must protest. People are not really all the same. There is a distinct divide in this country between fans of democracy and fans of authoritarianism. Of course all human beings have certain common needs, but that doesn't make them the same. 99.5% of Democrats have accepted the loss. In contrast, Trump announced that he was going to establish a commission to find the fraud in the 2020 election. You read that right... 2020.
Sadly, we as Democrats tend to be lazy voters. I had hoped this time they would turn out in droves. What blows my mind are the number of Latino's, Blacks, WOMEN!, etc. that voted for this terrible excuse for a human being!! If it turns out the way we fear, I hope it bites the Republicans big time!!
