Cigarette commercials used to be on TV
LSMFT was a slogan from the Lucky Strike company. It stood for “Lucky strike means fine tobacco”.
THERE WERE ALTERNATIVE INTERPRETATIONS:
Loose suspenders mean falling trousers.
Let's screw, my finger’s tired.
Loose straps mean flabby ta-tas.
And of course…. Lysergic acid means fine trips.
AN ACID TRIP…
was always something to get through. An ordeal, not unlike a roller coaster. Once the ride starts, you're on it till it ends, and that was often much longer than necessary. But one aspect of it was promising. “They” assured us that at some point in the future you would have a FLASHBACK. A free trip, and you never knew when or where that may happen.
WAITING.
In I’ve been waiting since the 70’s. And…..nothing…nada, bupkes. I felt so cheated, I had been promised a BOGO (Buy one, get one). I was beginning to think there was no justice in the world.
AND THEN…IT HAPPENNED
ACTUALLY…
It happened a different way. I read the Easter message from the Hater-in-Chief.
And I knew I MUST be tripping.
Fuckity Fuck Fuck
We are so completely fucked
Trippety Trip Trip
Non sequiturs only please
I’m still waiting for a flashback, and I’m sure it won’t be any better than the first trip! LOL
LSMFT - Lawless Sick Mother Fucker Trump.
I vividly remember my 7th grade Health class, where they played drug culture scare movies like Reefer Madness and The Pill Poppers. Not only did they not make us scared, they made us curious, and some of us explored accordingly, as we were instructed to do. If given the choice to relive an acid trip or watch our democracy cracking like Humpty Dumpty, I'd much rather watch the walls breathe.
